Network & Security Pre-Sales Engineer

You’ll be the technical bridge between our sales team and our customers, translating business goals into secure, high-performance network designs. From the first discovery call through final proposal, you’ll craft architectures that combine Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, and CCTV technologies—helping organizations across Egypt modernize and protect their infrastructure. 


Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements, run discovery workshops, and create tailored network & security architectures.
  • Build bills-of-quantities (BoQs), draft detailed proposals, and answer RFP/RFI documents with clear, value-focused language.
  • Deliver product deep-dives, white-board sessions, and live demos that translate features into real-world benefits.
  • Run knowledge-transfer sessions for end-users, partners, and internal teams.
  • Work with local distributors and vendors to scope, price, and deliver complete solutions.
  • Relay customer insights to product and sales leadership to refine offerings and go-to-market strategy.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, Telecommunications, or a closely related field.
  • 2 years of pre-sales, systems engineering, or network/security implementation experience.
  • Working knowledge of at least two major vendors (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet) plus basic CCTV concepts.
  • Strong verbal & written English and Arabic; able to create crisp slide decks and speak confidently with C-level stakeholders.
  • Solid grounding in networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi).

Nice to have

  • Vendor certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, HCIA/HN, NSE 4/5).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking or security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible).
  • Experience responding to public-sector RFPs or large enterprise bids.
