You will sit at the intersection of engineering and delivery—owning the full project lifecycle for high-value networking and infrastructure engagements. From pre-sales scoping through go-live and account growth, you’ll translate customer needs into realistic project plans, marshal cross-functional teams, and ensure every milestone is hit on scope, on budget, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives to qualify opportunities, run discovery workshops, estimate effort, and craft statements of work (SoWs) that balance technical feasibility with commercial goals.
- Build detailed schedules, resource plans, and risk registers for multi-site LAN/WAN, data-center, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, cloud-networking, and security rollouts. Track progress with agile or waterfall methods as appropriate.
- Own project P&L, manage change requests, and forecast revenue recognition. Ensure procurement of Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, and passive infrastructure aligns with cash-flow targets.
- Serve as the single point of contact for clients, vendors, distributors, and internal leadership. Provide weekly status reports, executive dashboards, and steering-committee updates.
- Coordinate solutions architects, field engineers, and third-party contractors. Mentor junior PMs and uphold PMO standards (templates, lessons learned, KPIs).
- Enforce QA processes, run acceptance testing, lead issue/defect triage, and implement mitigation plans for scope, schedule, or cost variances.
- Conduct project close-outs, secure client sign-off, and surface upsell or renewal opportunities to the sales team.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Business with a technical focus.
- 5+ years managing networking or infrastructure projects valued at ≥ USD 1 M.
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, structured cabling, and data-center / cloud topologies.
- Proven track record overseeing simultaneous projects from proposal through handover.
- Strong commercial acumen: budgeting, margin protection, contract terms, and vendor management.
- Excellent English communication—able to craft executive-level decks and negotiate with CXO clients.
- Proficiency with project-management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or Jira) and collaboration suites (M365, Google Workspace).
Nice to have
- PMP®, PRINCE2®, or PMI-ACP certification.
- Vendor credentials (CCNP/CCDP, NSE 4–7, HCIP) or cloud networking certs (AWS Networking, Azure Network Engineer).
- Experience delivering projects in financial services, telco, or government sectors.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).
